Business Analyzer - a winner in Dynamics GP 2010 R2
A new and real winner of a feature, available in the recently released GP 2010 R2 is Business Analyzer. It gives you the ability to see reports from your desktop, as below:
You also can use Business Analyzer to select and view SQL Server Reporting Services reports in Microsoft Dynamics GP from primary lists and list views. Business Analyzer is automatically displayed with a list. The following illustration shows Business Analyzer in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
To view reports, you must have security access to the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services reports in Report Manager or Microsoft SharePoint. You can perform actions for reports in Business Analyzer, such as editing the report in Report Builder or selecting the company or companies you want to view reports from. You can assign contacts in Lync (formerly Communicator) to reports so you can share report data with people that you commonly work with.
The integration with Excel will bring smiles to many faces and the ease with reporting and distribution of Excel reports which automatically update with the latest Dynamics data on opening; brings live reports to the office desktop – winning!
