Olympic made Gold, and it wasn't even reported!
About one-and-a-half months ago now, team Olympic got our behind's organised and became the first NZ Dynamics GP Partner to attain "Gold" against the ERP competency, under the new Microsoft Partner Network.

The PR release left the outbox of our friends at Microsoft on Monday the 21st - and so coming back to work a good 6 or so business days after that (thanks to the Feb 22 Chch Earthquake), it never got released here!
Better (super) late than never, right?!...
OLYMPIC SOFTWARE MAKES GOLD
Olympic Software has become the first Microsoft Dynamics GP partner to achieve gold certification in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) category within the new Microsoft Partner Network.
Managing Director of Olympic Software, Joe McLeod, says this was a result of the high quality and consistency of services provided by his team.
“We are very excited to achieve gold status in the ERP category. The new Microsoft Partner Network regulations are much stricter than before, so it is great to see we are able to compete at this level.”
“Olympic Software was part of the stable of IT companies that introduced Microsoft Dynamics GP to New Zealand in the late 80’s. We aim to continually extend and revitalise our clients’ investment in order to provide a complete solution for their business needs. It is this experience and unique service that has led to our recent success.”
Brent Colbert, Director – Partner Strategy, Microsoft New Zealand says to earn a Gold competency organisations must demonstrate the ability to meet customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment.
“The Microsoft Gold Competency signifies to the market that a company has demonstrated the highest level of skill and achievement within a given technology specialisation. By achieving the Gold competency for ERP, Olympic Software is demonstrating it has the skills, expertise, and resources to deploy financial and supply chain management solutions to meet its customers’ needs.”
Dominion Salt, New Zealand’s primary salt producer, is one customer reaping the benefits of Olympic Software’s extensive Microsoft Dynamics GP knowledge.
Michael Karton, Company Accountant of Dominion Salt says it is not surprising Olympic Software has achieved gold certification.
“Our Microsoft Dynamics GP solution is our primary tool in managing day to day business operations. Key processes such as capturing sales orders, production demand reporting and customer specific pricing are all handled effectively and efficiently. The Microsoft platform is allowing us to consider a wide range of options for extending our internal and external business reach.
“As one of Olympic Software’s longest standing Dynamics GP clients, we have been using the solution in partnership with Olympic, for nearly 10 years. We would like to congratulate them on their recent achievement and look forward to working with them into the future.”
The new Microsoft Partner Network, launched in October 2010, provides partners with ranked certification in 27 predetermined solution categories. Olympic Software currently holds a Gold in ERP, and Silvers in Independent Software Vendor, Application Integration, Web Development and Software Development.
